Patrick H Devine

A three-year letterman in wrestling from 1932-34, Devine helped lead the Hoosiers to a national team title in 1932 and went on to win a national championship of his own at 135 pounds one year later. A team captain in 1934, he won Big Ten individual titles at 135 pounds in 1933 and again in 1934, both years leading the Hoosiers to conference titles. In 1933, he compiled a perfect 13-0 record and still holds the IU career mark for winning percentage with a 27-2 record (.931). Devine is deceased.
