Game Notes
• With the 68-55 win against IUPUI, the Hoosiers improved to 7-1 on the season and have won seven of their first eight games of the season for the second consecutive season.
• Indiana improved to 5-0 in the all-time series against IUPUI.
• After surrendering a 3-point basket to the Jaguars to start the game the Hoosiers countered with a 10-0 run over a 2:14 stretch, which began on a 3-point basket by Taylor Agler.
• The Hoosiers closed the first half on a 13-0 run and held IUPUI scoreless for the final 4:02 of the opening stanza.
• Indiana had its sixth game of the season with at least four players scoring in double figures.
• Freshman Amanda Cahill led the Hoosiers with 14 points, her fifth game this season in double figures. Cahill also added nine rebounds, three steals, three blocks and two assists. Her steals and blocks total are both career highs.
• Sophomore Larryn Brooks scored 13 points and connected on 3-of-5 from beyond the 3-point arc. Brooks has connected on three or more 3-point field goals in a game five times this season.
• Freshman Tyra Buss scored five of the Hoosiers first 10 points and finished the game with 12 points.
• Sophomore Jenn Anderson recorded her sixth game of the season in double figures with 10 points and added four rebounds.
• Freshman Jess Walter scored six points and dished out four assists in a season-high 18 minutes.
