BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana Field Hockey fell behind early but roared back to the tune of a 7-1 win over St. Louis on Senior Day in Bloomington. Behind seven different goal scorers, including two seniors, IU finished off its home slate in exciting fashion.

With the win, IU moves to 9-8 (2-5) on the campaign while St. Louis falls to 2-13 (1-5).

KEY MOMENTS
• St. Louis grabbed the opening goal in the sixth minute after a defensive mistake from IU.
• From there on, IU dominated the match. Senior defender Mary Kate Kesler opened IU's account on the afternoon with a penalty corner goal.
• Sophomore forward Meghan Dillon tipped a shot into the net in the 18^th minute to give IU the lead for good.
• After controlling much of the possession near the St. Louis circle, freshman midfielder Kira Curland fired a line-drive shot into the net from the edge of the circle.
• Freshman forward Kayla Kiwak and freshman midfielder Maggie Carter got into the scoring with second-period goals to pad IU's comfortable lead.
• Sophomore forward Anna Gwiazdzinski made it a 6-1 lead heading into the halftime break by scoring off an assist from Curland.
• Senior forward Hailey Couch scored her final home goal in the 41^st minute to cap off a productive offensive afternoon.

NOTABLES
• Curland scored one goal and three assists on the afternoon. She ends the day in first place in the Big Ten for points from a freshman.
• With today's goal, Meghan Dillon has now scored in four consecutive games.
• IU's seven goals were the most scored in a single match since putting 11 past St. Louis on September 5^th, 2013.
• Couch's goal was the 14^th of her career. That puts her into a tie for 18^th on the all-time goal scoring list in IU history.
• The Hoosiers had seven different goal scorers on Friday afternoon.
• IU only conceded two shots and didn't give up a penalty corner the entire match.
• Every single player on IU's roster played in the 7-1 victory over St. Louis.

UP NEXT
• IU travels back to Ohio on Sunday morning to face the Ohio Bobcats at 11:00 a.m. EST. A win would give IU its first double-digit win tally in a single season since 2012.
