
Hoosiers fall to No. 15 Michigan

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. ––– The Indiana Field Hockey team lost to No. 15 Michigan, 2-0, at home on Friday afternoon.
Michigan got off to a fast start, scoring both goals in the second period. Despite taking control of the possession battle and outpacing Michigan in shots, the Hoosiers never found the back of the cage.
With the loss, the Hoosiers are now 4-6 on the season and 0-3 in Big Ten play.
KEY MOMENTS
• Kelsey Reviello opened the scoring for Michigan with a goal in the third minute. Lora Clarke had the assist.
• Michigan extended the lead to 2-0 with a 14th minute goal from Juliette Manzur.
• Right before Manzur's goal, Indiana redshirt senior Sydney Keld made an impressive defensive save to stop Erin Reilly's shot.
• Indiana's defense only allowed Michigan to take one shot in the entire second half.
