With the win, Indiana improves to 4-6 on the season and 1-3 in conference play
KEY MOMENTS
• Paulina Niklaus scored off of a penalty corner at the seven minute mark to give Rutgers a 1-0 lead. Guillerm Causarano and Vicky Jure assisted on the goal.
• Garcia Prado was able to get some space and score the Indiana's first goal in the 16th minute to tie the game at 1-1.
• Niklaus would score another goal from a penalty corner in the 21st minute to give Rutgers a 2-1 lead heading into the break. Causarano and Jure assisted on the goal
• The Hoosiers came out of halftime quickly as Garcia Prado scored her second goal within seconds of the start of the half.
• Niklaus scored her third goal from a penalty corner in the 40th minute of play.
• Freshman Forward Mijntje Hagen was able to put in the equalizer in the 52nd minute to make it a 3-3 game heading into overtime. Sofia Arrebola Garcia assisted on the goal.
• Garcia Prado wasted no time scoring her third goal of the game in the 62nd minute to secure the 4-3 win for the Hoosiers.
