TEAM
• Indiana is 20-50-2 all-time against Michigan State with a 13-23-1 mark at home.
• With the victory, Indiana won back-to-back Old Brass Spittoon games for the first time since it claimed three-straight from 1967-69.
• Indiana's game captains were: OL Pat Coogan, LB Aiden Fisher, RB Roman Hemby, WR Elijah Sarratt.
• Indiana won the coin toss and deferred the opening kickoff. Michigan State received the opening kick.
• The Hoosiers are 38-27-1 all-time as a ranked team, which includes a 26-7-1 record at home and a 31-20-1 mark in Big Ten play.
• Indiana begins a season 7-0 for the third time in program history (2024, 1967). IU started two other seasons with 6-0-1 records (1988 and 1945).
• The 4-0 start in Big Ten play marks the fifth time in program history an Indiana team started with an unblemished mark through at least four conference games (7-0, 2024; 4-0, 2020; 4-0, 1987; 5-0, 1967).
• With zero punts in the game, Indiana registered its first Big Ten game without a punt since 1989 against Northwestern. It is also the first time IU did not punt against a Power 4 opponent since the Northwestern game in 1989 and the first game without a punt since 2024 against Western Illinois in Week 2.

• Had his tenth career rushing touchdown when he found the end zone on a 29-yard score in the second quarter.
Omar Cooper Jr. | WR | R-Jr.
• Totaled his fourth game of 100-plus yards receiving with 115 yards on eight catches and a touchdown.
• His 48-yard receiving touchdown marked his 16th career receiving score and puts him in a tie at No. 7 on the program's career receiving touchdowns list with Nick Westbrook (16; 2015-19). He passed Trent Smock (15; 1973-75) and Ted Bolser (15; 2010-13).
Stephen Daley | DL | Sr.
• Matched a career-high 2.0 sacks. The last time he reached the mark was against Miami (Ohio) in 2024 while at Kent State.
Rolijah Hardy | LB | So.
• Had a career-high 2.5 tackles for loss and career-high 2.0 sacks.
Mikail Kamara | DL | R-Sr.
• Owns at least one tackle in 42 of 44 career games played.
Fernando Mendoza | QB | R-Jr.
• Had a 24-for-28 passing day with 332 yards and four touchdowns.
• It was his first 300-plus yard passing day at Indiana and the fourth time in his career reaching the mark.
• With a completion percentage of .857, he now holds the top three spots in single-game completion percentage (min. 20 attempts). His percentage against Michigan State tied Tayven Jackson (.857; 18-of-21) against Indiana State in 2023.
• His four touchdowns moves him to 21 on the season and into a tie for No. 6 on the program's season passing touchdowns charts with Nate Sudfeld (2013). He passed Peyton Ramsey (19; 2018) and Richard Lagow (19; 2016) in the game.
• He is the seventh Hoosier quarterback with 20-plus touchdown passes in a season
• The game marked his fourth in 2025 with at least four touchdown passes, the most by a Hoosier quarterback in a single season in program history.

• Had his fifth career double-digit tackle game with 11 stops.
Riley Nowakowski | TE | R-Sr.+
• Notched a career-high 54 receiving yards on three receptions. His previous high was 43 in Week 4 against No. 9/9 Illinois (9/20).
Nico Radicic | K | R-So.
• His 31-yard field goal in the fourth quarter extended his active streak to 10-straight made field goals puts him into a tie for No. 5 on the program's list and is the longest active streak since Logan Justus (14; 2019).
• His 5-for-5 effort on extra points pushed his career total to 111, passing Andy Payne (109; 1997-2000) and Pete Stoyanovich (1985-1988) and into the No. 4 spot on the career list. He trails Scott Bonnell (117; 1989-92).
• His field goal and five extra points pushed his career total to 168 points and No. 17 on the all-time career scoring list, passing Stephen Houston (164; 2010-13) and Bryan Robertson (164; 2001-04). He trails Logan Justus (173; 2016-19).
Elijah Sarratt | WR | Sr.
• Continued his nation-leading consecutive games with a catch streak to 45 on his 24-yard connection with Fernando Mendoza in the second quarter.
• His two receiving scores marked his tenth career multi-touchdown game and puts him at 17 receiving touchdown receptions as Hoosier.
• The 17 scores moves him into a tie at No. 6 on the program's career receiving touchdowns list with Cody Latimer (17; 2011-13). He passed Nick Westbrook (16; 2015-19), Trent Smock (15; 1973-75) and Ted Bolser (15; 2010-13).
E.J. Williams Jr. | WR | R-Sr.+
• Had his fifth career touchdown reception on a 13-yard connection with Fernando Mendoza in the first quarter to put Indiana up 7-0.
