Jacob Moran and Gabe Sollars Named to Big Ten Wrestlers to Watch List

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. ––– The Big Ten Conference announced their preseason Big Ten Wrestlers to Watch List on Friday afternoon, and Hoosiers Jacob Moran and Gabe Sollars were selected for the distinction.
Moran, a sixth-year senior, and Sollars, a redshirt junior, each qualified for the 2025 NCAA Championships and collected multiple wins at the tournament.
Moran went 27-11 last year at 125 lbs. with a fifth place finish at the Big Ten Championships and took fourth place at the Ken Kraft Midlands Championships. He went 2-2 at NCAAs, winning his opening match before reaching the Round of 16 on the backside of the bracket.
Sollars was 19-13 on the season with 10 bonus-point victories, including five pins. He got ninth place at 197 lbs. at the Big Ten Championships and got second at Midlands. At NCAAs, he made the Blood Round and won his first two matches of the tournament to reach the quarterfinals.
Both will wrestle at the same weight classes this season as they did a year ago.
