BLOOMINGTON, Ind – Indiana women's tennis gets the long awaited bounce back win against UIC in Bloomington, Ind.
KEY MOMENTS
- Elisabeth Dunac and Nicole Teodosescu got the Hoosiers rolling after taking the first doubles match.
- The Hoosiers clinched the doubles point with a win from Nicole Sifuentes and Li Hsin Lin.
- Elisabeth Dunac extended the lead to 2-0 with a win at No. 6 singles.
- Freshman Marina Fuduric made it 3-0 with a win at No. 2 singles which was then followed by a No. 4 singles win by Li Hsin Lin to clinch the match for the Hoosiers.
- Matches from Magdalena Swierczynska and Nicole Sifuentes were both on pace for victories as well after taking first sets before being abandoned.
- Nicole Teodosescu was also on a winning pace after coming back from 0-5 and taking the first set 7-6 in an eleven point tiebreaker.
