Garvick Named IU’s Male Scholar-Athlete of the Month

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. –––– Indiana Wrestling freshman Ryan Garvick has been named IU's male Scholar-Athlete for the Month for May.
Garvick has displayed excellence in both the classroom and on the mat to be recognized by the IU Athletic Department for his hard work.
He is an Exercise Science major with aspirations to be an Athletic Trainer after his schooling is complete.
The true freshman from Dauphin, Pa. served as the team's starter at 157 lbs. and competed in the Big Ten Championships. He took third place at the Michigan State Open.
