Indiana Track and Field Announces 2025-26 Recruiting Class

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana University track and field head coach Ed Beathea announced the addition of 23 athletes to the 2025-26 track and field roster on Friday afternoon.
As we enter into year 3, we look forward to adding good depth to in several areas," said head coach Ed Beathea. "All of the additions have the ability to impact our conference in a short period of time. They are performance driven and are excited to be Hoosiers."
This group of athletes covers multiple event groups including a highly competitive freshmen class joining the Hoosiers next season.
The Sprints and Hurdles group will look to add strong local freshman talent with additions of IHSAA State Champions Antonio Smith (200m, 4x400m) of North Central and Ciara Kepner (4x400) of Hamilton Southeastern.
Emma Gardner (Discus) comes in from Greenwood High school as a two-time Adidas All-American. Gardner also claimed the 2025 IHSAA State title in the discus. She will give a boost to the throws team alongside Michael Neuenroth (Hammer) and Bo Fleming (Shot Put).
Assistant coach Jake Jacoby looks to bolster the jumps group in his first year with the Hoosiers. Jacoby brings in a two-time Gatorade Athlete of the year in Kaselle Davis. She holds a pr in the high jump of 1.78m/5-10 along with impressive times in the 200m (24.27) and 400m (54.13) sprints.
The Hoosiers also add two pole vaulters to the 2025-26 roster. Isabel German (Lowell High School) and Kailen Kramer (Mt. Pleasant) each have personal best heights of 3.95m/13 in their high school careers.
The distance group will add six runners to start the season. Liam Bauschke (Mishawaka, Ind.), Ava Jarrell (Pendleton, Ind.), Sam Quagliaroli (Fishers, Ind.), and Ahmed Saleh (Fortville, Ind.), placed in the top-10 in their respective events at the 2025 IHSAA Track and Field State Championships.
