BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana women's soccer fell to Bellarmine 2-1 in their final road game of the non-conference schedule. The Hoosiers played a strong offensive game but were unable to capitalize on opportunities.

With the loss, Indiana moves to 2-2 on the season.

KEY MOMENTS

Indiana applied pressure early to the Knights', holding Bellarmine to two shot attempts in the first half.
Carle McKenzie found a break away for Bellarmine to score the game's opening goal in the 29^th minute.
In the 38^th minute senior forward Sarah Sirdah played a corner kick into the box. Senior Olivia Rush headed the ball over to senior Abbey Iler to score the equalizer late in the first half.
The Hoosiers played aggressive through the second half taking 10 shots halfway by the 77^th minute.
Katie Paulakonis put in a goal for Bellarmine to give the Knights a 2-1 lead in the 80^th minute.
IU continued to pressure the defense but could not convert on shot attempts.

Iler's goal was the first of her career.
IU out-shot Bellarmine 22-8.
Indiana recorded nine corners in the game
Senior goalkeeper Dani Jacobson recorded three saves on five shots on goal.
The Hoosiers forced 10 Bellarmine fouls.
