
Zach Graper Joins Indiana Water Polo Staff

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana water polo head coach Taylor McInerney has announced the addition of Zach Graper to her staff as an assistant coach.
"I'm thrilled to add Zach not only to our staff, but into the entire program," McInerney said. "He brings a wealth of knowledge a decade of coaching at various successful programs. Undoubtedly, Zach's experience will have an immediate impact on the deck with our team"
Graper arrives in Bloomington after spending the last six years with USA Water Polo in head coaching roles for Coastal Zone for Girls Olympic Development program (2019-24) and as the youth head coach for Coastal Zone team (2024-25). His 2023 and 2024 Coastal Youth Red Girls programs finished first at the Olympic Development National Championships.
The Simi Valley, Calif. native has held positions within USA Water Polo since 2017 and has been in youth club coaching and high school coaching since 2011. Most recently, he was the head coach for Palos Verdes High School Boys and Girls water polo since 2021 where he was named the Daily Breeze Coach of the Year in 2024 and 2025.
He graduated from California Lutheran where he played two seasons (2013-14) and was named a ACWPC Honorable Mention All-American in his senior season, where he led the Kingsmen with 51 goals.
