Opening Tip
• The 10th-seeded Indiana Hoosiers will kickoff the Big Ten Tournament with a second-round matchup with 15th-seeded Northwestern. Tip is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday, March 11, at the United Center in Chicago. Guy Haberman (PxP), Jordan Taylor (Analyst), and Andy Katz (Sideline) will handle the BTN broadcast.
• Northwestern (14-18) is under the direction of 13th-year head coach Chris Collins, who has the second-most wins in Wildcat history (208).
• Senior forward Nick Martinelli, a 2026 All-Big Ten Second Team honoree, entered the postseason with averages of 22.7 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. He shot 50.1% (238-of-475) from the floor, 41.0% (41-of-100) from the 3-point line, and 80.9% (165-of-204) from the free throw line. The Glenview, Ill., native led the Big Ten Conference in scoring in consecutive season.
• Junior forward Arrinten Page posted 10.2 points and 4.5 rebounds per contest, while junior guard Jayden Reid added 9.7 points and 4.7 assists per night.

• Indiana holds a 120-58 advantage in the 178-game series against Northwestern. The 120 wins is the most for the Hoosiers against any program, however the Wildcats have won six-straight games in the series. IU last win over NU at home came in a 66-62 result on Jan. 8, 2020.
• Northwestern earned a 72-68 victory in the lone matchup between the teams this season on Feb. 24 at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. Indiana led for nearly 35 minutes of game time and by as many as 13 points in the first half before ultimately falling.
Last Time Out
• Indiana (18-13 9-11 B1G) wrapped the regular season with a 91-78 loss at Ohio State on Saturday, March 7. The Hoosiers shot 54.9% (28-of-51) from the floor in the game.
• Five Hoosiers scored in double figures, led by fifth-year senior guard Lamar Wilkerson. He tallied 18 points, three rebounds, and three assists. Redshirt senior forward Tucker DeVries added 17 points, five assists, and three steals.
• Senior forward Sam Alexis collected 14 points on 5-of-5 shooting from the floor. Senior forward Reed Bailey added 12 points and five rebounds in 29 minutes off the bench.
• Redshirt senior guard Conor Enright posted 12 points and five assists.
Wilkerson Named Second Team All-Big Ten
• Indiana redshirt senior guard Lamar Wilkerson was named All-Big Ten Second Team by the league's coaches and Third Team by select media members.
• Wilkerson is the first Hoosier since Kel'el Ware (Third Team in 2024) to be voted All-Big Ten. Trayce Jackson-Davis (2022) was the last IU player to be named to the B1G second team.
• The veteran guard averaged 21.0 points per game, the second-highest figure in the Big Ten. Wilkerson is on track to be the first player since Brian Evans (1995-96) to average 21.0-plus points in a season for Indiana.
• The Ashdown, Ark., native is one of four players nationally to average north of 20.0 points and at least 3.0 made 3-pointers per game this season.
• Wilkerson made 103 shots behind the arc during the regular season, the second most in program history. He trails only Steve Alford's total of 107 during the 1986-87 campaign. His free throw percentage of 89.3% is on pace to finish third in program history for players with more than 100 made free throws in a single season.
