Clark, 400 Medley Relay on Deck Friday Night
3/20/2026 3:30:00 PM | Women's Swimming and Diving
ATLANTA – Indiana will look forward to two swims Friday (March 20) night at the 2026 Women's Swimming and Diving Championships inside the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta.
Four Hoosiers placed top 16 to clinch points during Friday morning's preliminary session. However, due to the NCAA's elimination of 'B' finals this season, freshman Liberty Clark was the lone Hoosier to advance to a final on day three. IU will also compete in the 400-yard medley relay.
In the 50-yard freestyle, Clark will look to best her program and 17-18 National Age Group record – a 21.27 – that she set as the leadoff to IU's bronze medal 200-yard freestyle relay Thursday night. Clark went 21.39 in the morning to qualify in seventh. Senior Kristina Paegle swam a personal best 21.51 to place 10th in the event.
In the 100-yard backstroke, junior Miranda Grana (51.27) and senior Mya DeWitt (51.36) placed 14th and 16th, respectively, to capture points.
