- Doubles court No.1 featured a ranked match up between No 84 Alessandra Teodosescu/Hi'ilani Williams and No.36 Flora Johnson/ Luciana Perry of Ohio State. The Hoosier pair kept it close and managed to tie up the match 4-4 until the Buckeyes clawed back to take court one, 6-4. Keeping the momentum with a win at court No. 2 , Ohio State took the early advantage by taking the doubles point (1-0).
- Two freshman Hoosiers clinched a set on the day. Williams added to the effort by taking her first set on singles No.5. A. Teodosescu kept it close against No.4 ranked Teah Chavez on court one, forcing the match to a third set after securing the second set, 6-4, before the court was abandoned.
- Junior Elisabeth Dunac was making headway on a comeback of her own on singles court No.3, holding the 5-1 edge for set two before the court was abandoned. With the remaining singles courts falling to the advantage of the Buckeyes, the match concluded 0-4.
