Indiana Wrestling Notches Four NWCA Scholar All-Americans

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. –– The National Wrestling Coaches Association announced their list of the 2026 Scholar All-Americans last week and four Hoosier wrestlers earned the prestigious honor.
Jacob Moran, Derek Gilcher, Sam Goin and Roman Rogotzke were named Scholar All-Americans.
These exceptional student-athletes have excelled both on the mat and in the classroom, meeting one of the following criteria:
• Top 8 and 3.00 GPA
• National Qualifier and 3.2 GPA
• Conference qualifier and 3.5 GPA
• 15 matches with 60% win record and 3.5 GPA
All four Indiana honorees were starters in the team's lineup this season.
Three of the four honorees were NCAA Qualifiers, and Jacob Moran was a 2026 All-American. Moran took sixth place at 125 lbs.
