Clancy Nabs NCAA Championships Spot, Hoosiers Place Eighth

SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. – The Indiana women's golf team finished eighth overall and shot an 867 (292-287-288; +3) at NCAA Simpsonville Regional played at the University of Louisville Golf Club to open the week.
Redshirt junior Sheridan Clancy punched her ticket to the 2026 NCAA Championships with her best performance as a Hoosier. She shot a 207 (68-67-72; -9) to earn the top individual finish on a non-advancing team.
Clancy tied for the program's low mark through 36 holes (135), tied for the sixth-lowest single round score (67 in the second), and shot the third-lowest 54-hole score (207). She is the fourth Hoosier to advance to the NCAA Championships as an individual and first since Erin Harper (2018).

• Redshirt senior Maddie May compiled a three-round score of 215 (73-73-69; -1) to tie for 20th-place. She added 10 birdies to her ledger, including five in the final round.
• Senior Madison Dabagia steadily improved in each round to shoot a 217 (74-73-70; +1). She finished the event with seven birdies.
• Freshman Saia Rampersaud played a 229 (77-74-78; +13) with one birdie in each of the three rounds in her debut NCAA event.
• Junior Katie Poots collected four total birdies and shot a 230 (78-75-77; +14).
• Sophomore Cara Heisterkamp traveled as the team substitute but was not inserted into the lineup.
