EUGENE, Ore. – The Indiana University track and field team closed the NCAA Outdoor National Championship with a historic performance from Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. The Hoosiers closed the weekend scoring in two events, finishing T-35th overall.
Following Wednesday's semifinal rounds, Trelee Banks Rose competed in the 200-meter final where he would record several landmarks to close his collegiate career.
"It would be impossible for me to be any more thrilled or proud of Trelee," said head coach Ed Beathea. "He executed his race very well in a very competitive field."
