BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Indiana men's soccer (2-0-0, 0-0-0 B1G) took care of business on both sides of the pitch Sunday (Aug. 23) night, defeating Evansville (0-2-0, 0-0-0 MVC) 3-0 on Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium to earn its first clean sheet of the young season.

IU has now outscored opponents 6-1 through two matches, its lone concession an 83rd-minute penalty in Thursday's season opener versus Notre Dame. Forward Oliver Moller-Jensen sealed the win with his third goal in two matches in the 85th minute, coming after goals from Charlie Heuer (34') and Easton Bogard (65').

The Hoosiers outshot the Purple Aces 14-6, converting three of their five shots on goal. Nolan Kinsella, Josh Maher, Moller-Jensen and Grant Paskus all tallied assists in the match.

KEY MOMENTS
• 34' – GOAL! Kinsella had a shot saved from a counterattack, but the ball fell straight to the feet of Heuer, who worked a left-footed finish into the far corner of goal. Indiana 1, Evansville 0
• 65' – GOAL! Maher passed from the midfield circle between two Evansville players, guiding Moller-Jensen into space. Moller-Jensen dribbled into the yards of green in front of him and timed a pass with Bogard's diagonal run into the box. Bogard spun and fired a left-footed shot through the keeper's near post. Indiana 2, Evansville 0
• 85' – GOAL! Paskus' nifty footwork in the box gave him space to play a pass to Moller-Jensen, who ripped a laser again through the keeper's near post. Indiana 3, Evansville 0

NOTABLES
• Moller-Jensen has totaled eight points in his first two matches as a Hoosier, recording three goals and two assists. Sunday's match marked his 50th-career appearance in collegiate soccer.
• The referee presented four yellow cards in the match, four to Evansville and three to Indiana.
• Sunday's attendance: 3,430. Indiana has welcomed 10,508 fans to Armstrong Stadium through two matches.
• Indiana improved to 34-4-4 against Evansville all-time and expanded its unbeaten streak in the series to 26 matches (23-0-3 since last defeat in 1990).
• Paskus marked his IU debut with his first assist in the cream and crimson Sunday.
• When counting exhibition matches, Bogard has scored six goals in four matches – one goal apiece in two games of regular season play.
