Hoosiers Close Competition From John McNichols Invitational

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The men's and women's cross country teams concluded the John McNichols Invitational on Saturday morning with personal best times and a top-5 finish.
The women's 6K championship started the morning of competition. Katy Zang had another strong showing, finishing second with a time 19:15.7.
Lily Myers and Maddie Rocchio followed with times of 21:05.1 and 21:05.8 (PR), respectively.
Michaela Quinn (22:03.4) and Ava Jarrell (22:09.5) rounded out the scoring finishes to put Indiana in 12th place.
In the men's championship 8K, Liam Bauschke was the top finisher for the Hoosiers with a time of 25:07.5.
The Hoosiers also saw Tony Orovenzano (25:15.8), Dylon Nalley (25:16.4), Ahmed Saleh (25:46.7), and Sam Quagliaroli (25:54.6) as scoring runners to finish 23rd.

Indiana will have the week for training before heading north to South Bend, Ind. to compete in the Notre Dame Joe Piane Invitational on Friday, October 2nd.
