Started all 17 games for the Hoosiers…named to the Big Ten’s Preseason watch list (8/20) ... placed both shots on target while setting up a corner on the game-winning goal at Ball State (8/26) ... dished an assist to Claire Woods against No. 20 Stanford (9/7)...scored the tying goal, her first of the year, in a four-goal second half comeback over Saint Francis (9/9) ...recorded her second assist of the season and had two shots against Northwestern (9/14)…saw her shot go past the goalkeeper for her second goal of the season at Michigan (9/30)…she also had her first defensive save of the season in the same game…received two looks at the goal but couldn’t come up with anything in the victory over Michigan State (10/5)…recorded three shots in the Big Ten Tournament against Michigan State (10/26).
2017 (Sophomore)
Academic All-Big Ten honoree … named to the Big Ten’s preseason watch list (8/21) ... started all 19 games in 2017 … recorded 7 goals (2nd – Team) with one assist and 43 shot attempts … also made three defensive saves … opened the year with a second-chance goal on her only shot attempt at No. 9 Louisville (8/25) ... contributed to an upset win over No. 15 Wake Forest (9/1) ... scored a hat trick for the first time in her career at Villanova (9/4), with all eight shots finding the target ... Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week (9/5) ... found another score with two shots on frame against Central Michigan (9/8) ... combined with Maddie Latino to win the first back-to-back Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honors in program history (9/5, 9/11) … took two shots and made a defensive save against Maryland (9/15) … landed two shots on target and set an assist in the win over Ball State (9/17) … made a d-save at Northwestern (10/6) … scored once while placing 3-of-4 shots on target in a home win over Ohio (10/8) … scored a goal against Michigan State (10/15) … swatted two shots for d-saves at Ohio State (10/20).

Prep/Personal: A four-year letterwinner for head coach Linda Decker at West Deptford High School, serving as team captain in her final two seasons with the Eagles … named the South Jersey Times Field Hockey Player of the Year in 2014 … the Eagles won three South Jersey Group 2 championships from 2013-2015, and won the Colonial Conference Championship in 2015 … received two West Deptford Most Valuable Player team awards … in her senior year, helped the Eagles set program records for single-season wins and single-season shutouts … named the South Jersey Times Player of the Week in 2014 … played club hockey for head coach Kathi Liszewski on the South Jersey Edge, where Girouard took part in a U-19 National Field Hockey Festival Championship in 2014 … club achieved a national ranking high at No. 13 in her final season … also earned three varsity letters in softball, and one in lacrosse, at West Deptforf … born on June 11, 1998 ... daughter of Claire and Joe Girouard … has three brothers, Joseph, Mitchell, and Christopher … majoring in Media.
