Andrew Vereen joined the IU Sports Medicine staff in June of 2025, as the Men’s Basketball Athletic Trainer. Prior to coming to Bloomington, Vereen worked at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa from 2020-2025. During his 5 years there, he provided coverage for women’s soccer, softball, and Men’s basketball programs. Prior to Drake, Vereen worked at the University of Kansas and provided coverage and services for their football program from 2016-2020.
Vereen graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts in Athletic Training in 2014 and earned his Master of Science degree in 2016 from University of Northern Iowa. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association, and holds certifications in BFR, Dry Needling, and Advanced Rehabilitation.
Vereen graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts in Athletic Training in 2014 and earned his Master of Science degree in 2016 from University of Northern Iowa. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association, and holds certifications in BFR, Dry Needling, and Advanced Rehabilitation.
