Game Notes
• The Hoosiers improved to 4-0 all-time against IPFW with the 80-37 victory.
• Indiana outscored IPFW 44-15 in the second half. The 15 points ties for the lowest total for an opponent in a half this season.
• Although IPFW scored 80 points against the Hoosiers last season and is averaging 73 points per game this season, Indiana held the Mastodons to just 37 points tonight.
• The 37 points is the lowest the Hoosiers have held an opponent since holding Central Michigan to 32 points in a 42-32 victory on November 28, 2004.
• For the seventh game this season, Indiana had four players score in double figures.
• The Hoosiers had 14 steals and forced IPFW into 19 turnovers. It's the sixth game this season IU has tallied at least 10 takeaways.
• Eight different players had a least one steal for the Hoosiers.
• Indiana outrebounded IPFW 52-28 and had 19 offensive rebounds in the game. The Hoosiers held a 22-4 advantage in second chance points.
• IU's 52 rebounds ties a season high for the Hoosiers as Indiana skied for 52 boards vs. Gardner-Webb on Nov. 15.
• The Hoosiers dominated on the inside with a 52-18 advantage in points in the paint. It was the third game this season the Hoosiers have recorded at least 50 points in the paint.
• Indiana held IPFW to 3-for-25 from 3-point range and for the season opponents are shooting 36-for-163 (22 percent) from 3-point range.
• The Hoosiers opened the second half with a 16-2 run and held IPFW to three field goals over the first 10 minutes of the half. Indiana limited the Mastodons to five field goals in the entire second half. IPFW shot 20 percent from the field in the second half and 25.9 percent from the field for the game.
• For the fifth game this season, the Hoosiers recorded 17 or more assists in a game.
• Sophomore Karlee McBride led the Hoosiers with 13 points in a season-high 21 minutes. McBride also contributed on the boards with a career-high seven rebounds and dished out a career-high four assists.
• Sophomore Larryn Brooks tallied her 34th career double-figure scoring game with 11 points and dished out for five assists. It is the fourth time this season she has registered at least five assists in a game.
• Freshman Amanda Cahill posted 10 points, five rebounds, three steals and two blocks.
• Sophomore Jenn Anderson scored 10 points and grabbed six rebounds and recorded two steals.
• Freshman Tyra Buss tallied nine points, five rebounds, four steals and two assists. It is the sixth game this season Buss has recorded at least four steals in a game.
