   BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The Indiana women's basketball team improved to 7-1 on the year as the Hoosiers defeated IUPUI on Sunday afternoon, 68-55. Indiana saw four players reach double-digit points, led by 14 points and nine boards by freshman Amanda Cahill.
  
  Also hitting double figures for the Hoosiers was sophomore Larryn Brooks (13 points), freshman Tyra Buss (12 points) and freshman Jenn Anderson (10 points).
  
  After IUPUI (2-6) took a quick 3-0 lead to start the game, the Hoosiers used a 10-0 run sparked by a 3-pointer from Taylor Agler to garner a 10-3 advantage at the 17:02 mark.
  
  Led by seven straight points from Mikale Rogers, the Jaguars stormed back and closed the gap to 28-27 in favor of Indiana.
  
  However, IUPUI would get no closer as the Hoosiers outscored the Jaguars 16-1 in the final 5:06 of the period, including a 13-0 run to end the half. Cahill knocked in six points during that stretch as Indiana took a 41-27 lead into the locker room.
  
  A 9-0 run punctuated by a lay-in and free throw by Cahill extended the Indiana second-half advantage to 58-39 at the 11:15 mark.
  
  A layup by Brooks with 4:55 remaining gave the Hoosiers their biggest lead of the game at 68-46. Brooks scored eight of her 13 points in the second half.
  
  Indiana returns to Assembly Hall on Wednesday as the Hoosiers play host to IPFW at 7 p.m.
