With Friday's matchup against Ohio, it will mark the fourth time in the first five games that Indiana has taken on an opponent who played in last year's NCAA Tournament. IU is the only team in the Big Ten to have played at least four NCAA teams from last year in the first five games played and the Hoosiers are the only team in the conference to open the year with three-straight NCAA Tourney foes.

VANDERBILT THANKSGIVING TOURNAMENT
The Hoosiers enter their second non-conference tournament of the year on Friday with the Vanderbilt Thanksgiving Tournament in Nashville. IU will battle Ohio after host Vanderbilt takes on Austin Peay. The winners of both games will meet in the championship game on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET. Losers of the first round game will meet at 1 p.m. ET on Saturday.

HOOSIER EFFICIENCY
Through four games, Indiana is shooting 50.7 percent from the field as a team and have shot 50 percent or better in three of the first four games of 2015-16. Last time out at IPFW, IU shot a season-high 56.8 percent from the field. In the season-opening victory over Tennessee State, Indiana hit 53.2 percent of its shots.

At then-No. 19 DePaul, the Hoosiers shot its best percentage against a ranked opponent in over 18 years, hitting 54.9 percent from the field. ROAD WARRIORS
For the first time since 2008, the Indiana women's basketball team will play four-consecutive games away from Bloomington. The Hoosiers were sent to DePaul in Chicago for the semifinals of the Preseason WNIT on Nov. 19 and played at IPFW on Nov. 24. This week IU will play a pair of games in the Vanderbilt Thanksgiving Tournament in Nashville, Tenn. opening up against Ohio on Friday at 3:30 p.m. ET.

The Hoosiers are in the middle of a stretch where they will play seven out of nine games away from Assembly Hall and looking farther ahead, 10 out of 14 away from Bloomington.

THE BUSS IS ROLLING
Indiana's returning leader in scoring, steals and assists has started where she left off last year. Through four games, sophomore Tyra Buss leads IU with 19.0 points, 5.3 assists and 1.8 steals per game. She has scored in double figures in every contest.

At IPFW on Nov. 24, Buss scored a career-high 29 points in the win, hitting 7-of-14 from the field and 14-of-18 from the free throw line to go along with four rebounds and three assists. At IPFW on Nov. 24, Indiana nailed 27-of-38 free throws to help seal the road victory. The 38 attempts are the fifth-most attempts ever in a single game in program history. The free throws made and attempted totals coincidentally are the most by an IU team since Nov. 12, 2013 when the Hoosiers last played at IPFW where they hit 29-of-40 from the charity stripe.

PLAYING THE RANKED ONES
With the 54-43 win over No. 24 Chattanooga on Nov. 17, it marked Indiana's first win over a ranked non-conference opponent since downing No. 24/19 Nebraska (prior to joining Big Ten) on Dec. 5, 2010. The victory over UTC also gave Teri Moren her second win over a ranked foe as head coach at Indiana as the Hoosiers defeated No. 24 Michigan State, 70-51, on Dec. 31, 2014 in Assembly Hall.

After the win over Chattanooga, IU took on No. 19 DePaul in Chicago, marking the first time since 2009 that the Hoosiers faced ranked opponents in non-Big Ten play in consecutive games.
