NOTES
- Big Ten play begins on Monday for the Hoosiers, who will play its earliest league game in program history. They will play two games before the holiday break as it will travel to Ohio State on Dec. 12.
- The Hoosiers are coming off a historic season in conference play in 2020-21, recording a school record 16 wins and finishing second overall. They are picked to finish second in the annual preseason Big Ten poll released in late October with senior guard Grace Berger and junior forward Mackenzie Holmes earning spots on the preseason All-Big Ten team.
- While Indiana trails in the all-time series with the Lady Lions, it has dominated the most recent history of the series. IU has won eight of the last nine matchups and are on a four-game win streak in the series.
- Looking to bounce back, Indiana is coming off a 66-58 loss to No. 2/3 North Carolina State on Thursday night in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. Junior forward Mackenzie Holmes led the way for IU with 24 points. Holmes is leading the program with 16.6 points and 7.0 rebounds through seven games this season.
