- IU got back on track Monday night when it opened Big Ten play with a 70-40 win over Penn State. All five starters scored in double figures behind 16 points from junior forward Mackenzie Holmes.
- Graduate student guard Nicole Cardaño-Hillary stuffed the stat sheet against the Lady Lions, tallying 14 points, a team-high seven rebounds, five assists and five steals. The Madrid, Spain native hit three 3-pointers in the victory, as she leads the team with 16 made triples and shooting 45.7 percent from beyond-the-arc.
- Indiana held its position in the top 10 in both national top 25 polls this week – coming in at No. 10 in the Associated Press Top 25 and No. 8 in the WBCA/USA Today coaches poll.
- Guards Grace Berger and Ali Patberg were named two of the top 30 candidates for the Senior CLASS Award. The duo is just one of two schools nationally with multiple selections, joining UConn with three selections.
