- The Hoosiers will return to the court after an unexpected week break, as Thursday's game against Rutgers at home was postponed.
- Indiana is coming off a 79-67 win over Michigan State on Sunday night. Sophomore forward Mackenzie Holmes led the way with 17 points as four players scored in double figures as a big second-half surge led the Hoosiers to victory.
- Senior guard Ali Patberg and junior guard Grace Berger have each been named to respective Top 10 watch lists by the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame. Patberg returns on the nation's best point guard list from last season on the Nancy Lieberman Award Top 10 while Berger earns the program's first ever Top 10 honoree on the Cheryl Miller Award for nation's top small forward.
- IU comes in at No. 10 in the latest NET rankings, which replaced the previously used RPI system. They are the second highest Big Ten team in the NET rankings this season.
- Holmes is leading the way for the Hoosiers this season with her 17.8 points per game, ties a team-high 6.9 rebounds, 2.8 blocks per game while shooting 59.7 percent from the floor. Berger adds 15.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game.
