NOTES
- For the first time in program history, the Hoosiers had seven players score in double figures in the Dec. 15 win over Bellarmine, 95-61. The bench led the way in scoring for IU, as senior forward Karoline Striplin entered the game for a team-high 18 points and junior guard Henna Sandvik sparked guard play with 13 points in the effort.
- Sandvik sparked the Hoosiers against the Knights last Sunday as she set career-highs in nearly every category. Her 13 points marked her first ever double figure scoring outing as the Helsinki, Finland native also pulled down six boards and had two blocks. Sandvik went for 4-for-6 from the floor and hit three 3-pointers.
- Junior guard Yarden Garzon paces the Hoosiers through the first 12 games, averaging 14.7 points per outing and a team-high 31 3-pointers. She's one of three players averaging double figures which also includes junior forward Lilly Meister (11.4 ppg.) and junior guard Shay Ciezki (10.0 ppg.).
- The Hoosiers are on the brink of setting some historical marks as it needs just three more games to win its 900th program victory. Individually, Garzon (890) and graduate student guard Chloe Moore-McNeil (933) are also nearing the 1,000-point club at IU, joining 31 former players who have also reached the career milestone.
