NOTES
- The Hoosiers are coming off a 94-91 thrilling win over Michigan State on Thursday night. Graduate student forward Mackenzie Holmes scored a game-high 28 points as senior guard Sara Scalia (21) and sophomore guard Yarden Garzon (20) became the first Indiana trio to score 20 points in the same game. IU shot 67.3 percent from the field, the third-best single game shooting percentage in school history.
- Senior guard Chloe Moore-McNeil became the second ever IU women's basketball player to record a triple double with 10 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists in Thursday's win. It is the fourth triple double ever recorded for the program as she joins Grace Berger, who notched three in her career.
- Holmes inches closes in on taking over the top spot in scoring the IU history books. She enters Sunday's game just 17 points shy of Tyra Buss's (2014-18) record of 2,364 points. Through her five seasons, the Gorham, Maine native has collected 2,348 points and is only the second player to score over 2,000 points in her IU career.
- This will be the second meeting between Indiana and Purdue this season. The Hoosiers came out on top in West Lafayette on Jan. 21 in a 74-68 victory inside Mackey Arena. Moore-McNeil had a career-high 20 points in the Barn Burner Trophy win. IU has won 10-straight in the series dating back to the 2018-19 season.
- Indiana has the opportunity to notch its 20th win on Sunday, which would be its 15th in program history and its ninth-straight. It has won 20 or more games since the 2016-17 season. The program also has had 20-win seasons in 1978-79, 1980-91, 1997-98, 2000-01, 2008-09 and 2013-14.
- Scalia continues to move closer to the single season 3-pointers made record as she knocked down five more in Thursday's win against Michigan State. It pushes her season total to 71, which is fourth all-time. The Stillwater, Minn. native on pace to break Amanda Cahill's record of 78 makes (2017-18) as she averages 3.2 per game (sixth nationally).
- IU is a perfect 12-0 on the season at home, one of 22 teams in NCAA Division I women's basketball to remain unbeaten at home. It is the only Big Ten team to hold an undefeated record on its home court this season.
