Hoosiers, Hawkeyes Meet Sunday Afternoon In Iowa City

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana and No. 23 Iowa renew their season series when they meet up at Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Sunday afternoon. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m. ET on Peacock.

Coming off a 62-57 loss at Illinois on Thursday, the Hawkeyes are looking to get back on track after a two-game skid which also featured a loss to No. 8 Maryland. Senior guard Lucy Olsen leads the way with 17.0 points per game while junior forward Hannah Stuelke adds 13.3 points and a team-high 8.0 rebounds per game. They are averaging 75.6 points per game and shooting 47.2 percent from the floor on the year.

NOTES
- Junior guard Shay Ciezki scored 20 points and three others added double figures as Indiana edged out Northwestern, 68-64, on the road on Wednesday. Indiana took a nine-point lead after one before the Wildcats fought back to keep the game within a possession or two through the remaining three quarters. Graduate student guard Sydney Parrish along with Ciezki combined to hit six of IU's eight 3-pointers. Senior forward Karoline Striplin went 5-for-8 from the field for 13 points while junior guard Yarden Garzon chipped in 10.
- Ciezki has provided the Hoosiers with some big scoring games in her first season. The Buffalo, N.Y. native has scored in double figures nine times including a season-high 34-point performance against No. 18 Baylor. She's scored 20 points on two occasions, most recently in a win at Northwestern. Ciezki has scored in double figures in the last five outings while also shooting a team-best 95.1 percent at the line, which also ranks tops in the Big Ten and sixth in the country.
- The series has been split evenly 2-2 in the last two seasons with the home teams each winning its respective home court advantage. The two teams will meet only once in the regular with the expansion of the Big Ten.
- Indiana has put up great numbers at the free throw line this season and is currently third in the Big Ten at the line with a 76.6 percent. It boasts two excellent shooters in Ciezki's 95.1 percent and Garzon's 94.6 percent. Ciezki currently leads the Big Ten in free throw percentage as each have only missed twice at the line this season.
- The Hoosiers will seek their third Top 25 win of the season on Sunday at Iowa. They previously knocked off the No. 23/24 Stanford and No. 17/18 Baylor in wins in non-conference action earlier this season.
