Ault, Michel Collect Weekly Awards

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Indiana men's soccer senior forward Palmer Ault and freshman goalkeeper Judewellin Michel featured in the Big Ten weekly awards, the conference office announced on Tuesday (Oct. 21).
Eight different Hoosiers have won 10 of the 36 available weekly awards through nine cycles.
Ault was also named the College Soccer New Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday. The forward scored five goals in two victories – bagging a brace that carried a 2-1 comeback victory at No. 25 Kentucky as well as his second hat trick of the season against Hanover. Ault has recorded six goals and two assists, a total of 14 points, in Indiana's last three games.
Ault has won the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week three times this season. The MAC Hermann Trophy candidate is the NCAA co-leader in points (33) and sits tied for second in goals (14).
Indiana has won five of nine offensive player of the week awards.
Michel made his mark in the road victory at Kentucky, his first start since the season opener versus No. 9 Clemson. The freshman made four saves, including two clutch stops in the 84th minute to preserve IU's 2-1 lead. On Friday, he picked up his first-career clean sheet against Hanover as well as his first-career assist.
Indiana begins its final stretch of conference play Tuesday (Oct. 21) night hosting Wisconsin on Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET.
