- Indiana is led by five players who have scored 30 or more goals this season paced by senior Skylar Kidd (57). Junior Louisa Downes is turning in her most impressive year as a Hoosier, scoring 52 goals to join Kidd in the 50-plus goal category.
- Senior Portia Sasser has a team-high 43 assists along with 32 goals.
- Junior goalie Jasmine Higgs holds a team-high 147 saves as she has also shared the cage with sophomore goalie Audrey Cox (67 saves).
- IU is coming off a pair of home games in back-to-back weeks as it fell to both No. 5 Cal and No. 17 San Jose State.
- The Hoosiers played the Cardinal in a thrilling overtime contest in last year's MPSF first round as they fell short, 9-8.
