BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana women's soccer travels to Urbana-Champaign, Illinois as they open Big Ten play at Illinois from Demirjian Park. The match is scheduled for a 8 p.m. ET start.

In a series led by the Illini 9-15-4, The Hoosiers have found success of late winning three of the last five matchups, including the last two played at Illinois.
The Hoosier will face an Illinois team that has started the year off strong. First year head coach Katie Hultin has led her team to an undefeated 7-0 start with wins at DePaul, at Kentucky, and at Missouri.
LAST TIME OUT
IU closed their non conference schedule when they defeated Ohio in a 1-0 shutout on Sunday afternoon.
On Senior Sunday, three seniors were featured on the game's lone goal. Olivia Albert played a free kick into the box that found Sarah Sirdah. Sirdah's touch allowed for Abbey Iler to find the back of the net.
The Hoosiers applied pressure through the second half taking 19 of their 23 shots in the final 45 minutes.
Senior goalkeeper Sally Rainey continued to make things difficult for the Bobcat offense. She recorded five saves in the second half to lead the Hoosiers to the win.
The Hoosiers closed their non conference schedule with an undefeated home record. Indiana saw wins against Youngstown State, Ball State and Ohio, along with a 2-2 draw against No. 24 Xavier.

The Hoosiers have six goal scorers on the season. Maggie Ledwith, Aleyna Quinn, Sarah Sirdah, Grace Hamm, and Abbey Iler each lead the way with two goals apiece. Haden Vlcek has also scored for Indiana.

The Hoosiers have been a second half scoring team with eight of their 11 goals this season coming in the second half.
In goal, Sally Rainey and Dani Jacobson have only allowed six goals on the season and a combined 23 saves.
IU is shooting 100% on their penalty kicks. Sirdah and Hamm have each of Indiana's two attempts.
