
Indiana Bests Lock Haven in Record Breaking Fashion

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. ––– Indiana Field Hockey defeated Lock Haven in a high-scoring, shutout game 12-0 on Friday afternoon at Deborah Tobias Field.
The win brings IU's season record to 3-2.
KEY MOMENTS
• Mijntje Hagen notched her first goal of the season on a penalty corner in the third minute of play. The ball was inserted by Charlotte Glasper with an additional assist by Javi Baeza.
• Theresa Ricci scored in the fifth minute to bring the score to 2-0. Charlotte Glasper assisted the goal.
• Glasper secured her first goal of the game assisted by Hagen in the 23rd minute of the game to bring the score to 3-0.
• After a save on goal, Inés Garcia Prado converted the deflected shot into a goal in the 24th minute. The score was raised to 4-0.
• A pass from Garcia Prado found Celia Arroyo Cabezudo for a goal in the 27th minute. The goal brought the game to a score of 5-0.
• Glasper found the back of the cage for a second time in a solo shot. She extended the score to 6-0 in the 41st minute.
• After Ricci inserted the ball on a penalty corner and an additional assist by Garcia Prado, Hannah Riddle scored her first goal of the game. In the 41st minute of play, the score extended to 7-0.
• Immediately following her first goal, Riddle again found the back of the cage to put the Hoosiers up 8-0. Ricci recorded an assist on the goal.
• Ricci sent the ball into the cage in the 42nd minute of play to extend the score to 9-0.
• Garcia Prado had sent a solo shot in the 46th minute to further the score 10-0.
• Garcia Prado again found the back of the cage to extend IU's lead 11-0 in the 53rd minute.
• Junior Ava Winner secured a pass from Glasper to cement Indiana's win over Lock haven 12-0.

• Indiana broke their program record of 11 goals in one game in the contest with Lock Haven, which was previously set in 2013 against St. Louis.
