BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana women's soccer looks to finish their Big Ten road trip as they travel to Piscataway, N.J. to play Rutgers. The game is scheduled to be played on Sunday, Sept. 21 at 1 p.m.

In a series led by the Scarlet Knights, the Hoosiers look to make it two wins in a row on Sunday. The previous match up resulted in a 3-2 thriller that saw the cream and crimson come out on top in Bloomington, Ind.
Rutgers looks to get back on track after suffering their first loss of the season. They have seen wins over NJIT and Fairfield early in the season.
LAST TIME OUT
IU saw their second Big Ten road test last Thursday as they played Maryland.
The Hoosiers looked to set the tone early. Through the first half, the defensive pressure from Olivia Albert and company only allowed five Terrapin shot attempts.
In the 51st minute, senior midfielder Olivia Smith found freshman defender Grace up the line. Hamm was able to float a shot up and in to give Indiana the 1-0 lead.
Maryland answered with a goal of their own in the 59th minute to tie the game.
The Terrapins would score again in the 87th minute to take the late lead.
Indiana made a late push btu was unable to find the back of the net.

The Hoosiers have six goal scorers on the season. Grace Hamm leads the Hoosiers with three goals. Maggie Ledwith, Aleyna Quinn, Sarah Sirdah, and Abbey Iler all follow with two goals apiece. Haden Vlcek has also scored for Indiana.
Hamm leads the team in points with seven, followed by Ledwith with six. Sirdah ranks third with five points, while Quinn and Iler have four points. Olivia Smith and Vlcek have tallied two points this season. Olivia Albert, Marisa Grzesiak, Olivia Rush, and Ella Stanley have one point apiece.
Indiana has taken 114 shots from 18 different players on the season. Ledwith leads the way with 19, followed by Neighbors and Grzesiak with 15 and 14, respectively. Hamm and Quinn have also taken double figure shot attempts with 11 and 10 respectively.
Offensively, IU is outshooting their opponents 114-99 on shot attempts. They also lead in shots on goal attempts 49-39.
The Hoosiers have been a second half scoring team with eight of their 12 goals this season coming in the second half.
In goal, Sally Rainey and Dani Jacobson have combined for two shutouts and 36 saves on the season. Jacobson also has an additional shutout against Ball State.
Rainey has three games this season recording at least five saves. She has totaled 19 saves on the year.
IU is shooting 100% on their penalty kicks. Sirdah and Hamm have each of Indiana's two attempts.

The Hoosiers will return home as they welcome the Washington Huskies to Bloomington, Ind. on Thursday, Sept. 25th. The match is set to start at 8 p.m.
