Indiana Women’s Tennis Set to Host Three Teams in Opening Weekend

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.– Indiana Women's tennis will kick off the spring season as it hosts Kennesaw State and Butler on Friday afternoon, followed by a contest against DePaul on Sunday at the IU Tennis Center in Bloomington.
The Hoosiers will start the weekend facing Kennesaw State at 12 p.m. with their match against Butler set to begin at 4 p.m. The Sunday face-off will start at 12 p.m.

SERIES HISTORY
IU will compete against the Kennesaw State Owls for the first time in its women's tennis history. Subsequently, it looks forward to continuing an undefeated 16-0 record against the Butler Bulldogs. The Hoosiers are 13-6 in contests featuring the DePaul Blue Demons.
ABOUT THE HOOSIERS
Four freshmen will make their spring debut on Friday, including Ameia Sorey, Alessandra Teodosescu, Mansi Vadyala and Hi'Ilani Williams.
Returning players for the Hoosiers include junior Chase Boyer, junior Elisabeth Dunac, junior Li Hsin Lin, sophomore Nicole Sifuentes, junior Magdalena Swierczysnksa and senior Nicole Teodosescu.
