Hoosiers Prepare for Doubleheader at Home

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. ––– The Indiana Men's Tennis team looks to continue its season at home on Sunday, Feb. 1, against Middle Tennessee and Toledo.
The action will take place at the IU Tennis Center in Bloomington, Indiana. The first match against Middle Tennessee starts at 12 pm, and the second match against Toledo starts at 4 pm.
Indiana currently sits at 2-2 on the season, with its two losses coming against Virginia and Mississippi State, both of which are top 10 opponents.
The team started the season with two 7-0 wins against Butler and Ball State. Against Mississippi State, Indiana's doubles team of Sam Landau and Jip van Assendelft defeated Petar Jovanovic and Benito Sanchez Martinez, the No. 2-ranked doubles team in the nation.
For Middle Tennessee, the Blue Raiders have started the season 5-0, picking up wins against Lipscomb, Tennessee Tech, Harvard, UAB, and Eastern Kentucky. In contrast, Toledo is 2-3 in the season with two Big Ten losses against Purdue and No. 6 Ohio State.
