BLOOMINGTON, Ind. ––– The Indiana men's tennis team prepares for its second straight weekend on the road when it plays the Memphis Tigers at 11 a.m. in the Leftwich Tennis Center in Memphis, Tennessee.
Indiana currently stands 5-2 and carries a three-match win streak heading into the match. The Hoosiers beat Middle Tennessee 4-1 and Toledo 4-0 in a doubleheader at home two weeks ago, before knocking off undefeated Dartmouth 4-3 in New Hampshire last weekend.
Memphis enters the match with a 5-3 record, but the Tigers are looking to get back into the win column after losing to Ole Miss 4-1 and Northwestern 4-2 in their last two matches.
Memphis boasts two doubles teams that are ranked in the top 100 by the ITA as of Feb. 4. Memphis' Moritz Kudernatsch and Maxime Dubouch rank No. 83, while Marcos Castro Fabra and Sam Reeve rank No. 87. Indiana's No. 19-ranked duo, Sam Landau and Jip van Assendelft, and the No. 72-ranked duo, Michael Andre and Matteo Antonescu, will create an exciting match up for the doubles point to open the match.
The match will have a live stream and live stats.
