IU Host Ranked Pair of Big Ten Foes This Weekend

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana women's tennis (10-3, 0-1 B1G) is set to host two teams this weekend on its conference slate, starting with No. 26 ranked Wisconsin on Saturday at 12 p.m. and concluding with No. 64 ranked Minnesota on Sunday at 12 p.m. Both matches will be played in the IU Tennis Center.
The Hoosiers are looking to improve after falling 4-2 to Purdue last weekend.

- Indiana fought hard in doubles play against Purdue, with junior Elisabeth Dunac and freshman Ameia Sorey taking doubles No.2 (6-4) to give Indiana the early advantage before Purdue ultimately secured No.1 and No.3 to clinch the doubles point.
- Looking to bounce back, IU had three singles matches go to three sets as the Hoosiers fought hard to claw back, putting two singles points on the board before the Boilermakers notched the four points they needed.
- Against Southern Indiana, the cream and crimson found their momentum and swept the Screaming Eagles 4-0. After taking the doubles point with wins at No. 3 (Chase Boyer/ NicoleTeodosescu, 6-1) and No.1 (Alessandra Teodosescu/Hi'ilani Williams, 6-2) respectively, it dominated in singles play to take the contest victory.
- Indiana looks to add to a 34-9 record against Wisconsin, with five of the nine losses being added on since 2021. It is 29-11 in matches facing Minnesota.
