Hoosiers Host Penn State in Sunday Big Ten Matchup

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — The No. 62 Indiana men's tennis team returns to action at home Sunday, Mar. 22, at noon to face Penn State.
Indiana sits at 7-7 on the season, coming off a 4-1 loss to No. 5 Ohio State on Friday. The Hoosiers claimed the doubles point against the Buckeyes when the No. 62-ranked duo of Michael Andre and Matteo Antonescu knocked off the No. 1 team in the country, Nikita Filin and Brandon Carpico, 6-3. At No. 3 doubles, Sam Landau and Braeden Gelletich defeated the No. 28 team of Aidan Kim and Bryce Nakashima to secure the point.
Penn State enters the match at 13-6, with both the Hoosiers and Nittany Lions seeking their second Big Ten win of the spring. Indiana and Penn State have faced only one common opponent this season, with Penn State falling to Ohio State 4-0.
