Arroyo Cabezudo Named IU’s Female Scholar-Athlete of the Month

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. –– Indiana Field Hockey freshman Celia Arroyo Cabezudo has been named IU's female Scholar-Athlete of the Month for April.
The sophomore forward displayed excellence in the classroom and on the field to achieve this honor.
Arroyo Cabezudo showcased outstanding work in her studies while balancing a stellar first season of collegiate competition.
The Spaniard appeared in all 18 games and notched eight goals in her freshman campaign. Her stellar season earned her Big Ten Freshman of the Week, NFHCA National Academic Squad honors and NFHCA Scholar of Distinction honors.
Arroyo Cabezudo was an integral part of IU's success last season and will be foundational as the team prepares for the 2026 campaign.
