BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana women's soccer earns their second win of the season as they defeat Youngstown State 3-1 on Sunday afternoon. The Hoosiers saw three goal scorers including two header goals en route to continuing their three-game home stand to open the season.

With the win, The Hoosiers remain undefeated with a 2-0 record overall.

KEY MOMENTS

The early starts continued for the Hoosiers as they got on the board to start the game. Forward Maggie Ledwith played the ball into the box, finding midfielder Kennedy Neighbors for the header and her first goal of the season, giving the Hoosiers and early 1-0 lead in the sixth minute.
The Hoosier defense continued to hold strong, keeping the Penguins to zero shots or corner kicks in the first half.
In the second half, Ledwith lined up for a free kick just outside the box. She found Neighbors at the top of the box with a clear line to forward Aleyna Quinn for the second header of the game.
Youngstown State got on the board in the 58^th minute with a goal from Ghita Haouzi, assisted by Camile Bultel to make it a 2-1 contest.
In the 73^rd minute, midfielder Emma Ehret had an open field with space to play Ledwith in the box. Ledwith would go on to score, improving the lead and result to 3-1.
