Hoosiers Fall in Final Regular Season Contest at No. 6 Penn State

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Indiana Field Hockey team (4-12, 1-7 B1G) wrapped of regular season play at No. 6 Penn State on Friday evening. After receiving a strong performance from the attack, the Hoosiers came up short to the Nittany Lions, 4-0
KEY MOMENTS
• After a standoff between the two defenses, Penn State was the first to strike with a goal in the 14th minute of action.
• The Nittany Lions would make the score 2-0 at the 23rd minute mark.
• With a goal off of a penalty Corner, Penn State would go would into halftime with 3-0 lead.
• Penn State scored the final goal of the contest to make the final score, 4-0.
NOTABLES
• Taylor Swope took the first shot of the game for the Hoosiers, but it was saved by Penn State's, Rizzo.
• Swope, Elle Hempt, and Kelsey Giese all notched a shot for Indiana.
• The Hoosiers had eight saves throughout the contest.
• Sachi Ananias had five saves in the first half, making that the most she has saved in a half this season.
