IRVINE, Calif. – Junior Grace Klinger paced No. 17 Indiana with a pair of goals as it dropped a 10-6 decision to No. 5 Hawai'I in the opener of the Barbara Kalbus Invitational on Friday.

KEY MOMENTS

The Rainbow Wahine led from wire-to-wire, putting up four goals before Indiana got on the board late in the first period.
Junior Louisa Downes and senior Skylar Kidd combined for a pair of goals in the first half for Indiana but trailed 7-2.
Klinger added two goals, one late in the third and early in the fourth, as sophomore Nancy Baylor-Sefchick and senior Claire Witting all netted goals.

NOTES

Goalie Jasmine Higgs and Audrey Cox split time in the cage. Cox added a team-high four steals to her totals.
Four different Hoosiers contributed to the offense with Klingler's team-high two goals.
IU also assisted on five of its six goals.
Kidd and Witting led the way with two drawn exclusions each.
The Hoosiers moved to 10-3 overall on the season. a
