No. 16 Rowing Ready for Weekend at Windermere Cup

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – In its final warm up before the Big Ten Championships, No. 16 Indiana rowing will race at the prestigious Windermere Cup and Opening Day Regatta Saturday (May 3) on the Montlake Cut in Seattle, Washington.
Fans can stream Saturday racing via the B1G+ digital platform. Indiana top four boats will compete on the weekend, hosted by No. 3 Washington. IU's Varsity Eight will go head-to-head with the Huskies top boat as well as the New Zealand National team in the race for the Windermere Cup trophy. Indiana, Seattle and two Washington crews will compete in the 2V8 race for the Cascade Cup trophy.
On Friday night, Indiana's V8 will have the privilege of competing in the women's Twilight Sprints, an exhibition race that kicks off the regatta. IU will race two Washington boats and the New Zealand National Team as the sun sets on Seattle at 11:25 p.m. ET, 8:25 local time.
