Hargrave Climbs Record Book to Close Day Two

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Indiana track and field completed the second day of competition from the NCAA East Regional meet.
Veronica Hargrave highlighted the day's events with her performance in the 800. She set a personal best in her first round race with a time of 2:02.48 to advance to Saturday's quarterfinal.
Hargrave broke her record she recently set in the Big Ten Outdoor Championship. Her time now ranks third on the all-time program list.
Due to severe weather, Makayla Hunter and the women's shot put event have been moved to tomorrow (May 30) and will be the first Hoosier competition of the day. The event will start tomorrow morning at 10 am
