BLOOMINGTON, Ind. ––– Indiana Field Hockey fell short in a high-scoring game with Louisville 5-4 on Sunday afternoon at Deborah Tobias Field.
The loss brings Indiana's season record to 2-2.
KEY MOMENTS
• Indiana's Charlotte Glasper struck first with her first career goal to make the score 1-0 in the sixth minute of play. Hannah Riddle recorded the assist.
• Louisville's Annabel Sep scored in the tenth minute to tie the game at 1-1.
• Freshman Molly Stutte found the back of the cage with an unassisted goal in the 15th minute to bring the score to 2-1.
• Louisville's Gigi Edwards scored in the 26th minute to tie the game at 2-2.
• On the 39th minute penalty corner, Choe Cuzzupe scored from assists on Sophia Parker and Annabel Sep to put Louisville ahead 3-2.
• Aubreigh Uba successfully converted a penalty stroke in the 40th minute to further Louisville's lead 4-2.
• Louisville's Izzy Bianco scored in the 50th minute to bring the score to 5-2. Assists were recorded by Sophia Parker and Rylie Wollerton.
• Senior Anna Mozeleski notched her third goal in the 51st minute of the season to bring the score to 5-3. Charlotte Glasper recorded the assist.
• Junior Inés Garcia Prado came up big with defensive saves on two penalty corners in the fourth quarter.
• Garcia Prado found the back of the net in the 58th minute to make the score 5-4. Theresa Ricci contributed to the assist.
