IU welcomes Penn State and Ohio State

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana women's tennis team continues conference play against No.53 Penn State and No. 3 Ohio State at the IU Tennis Center in Bloomington, Ind.
It will start the weekend on Saturday against Penn State at 12 p.m. and finish on Sunday for senior day against Ohio State at 4 p.m.

- IU split the weekend on the East Coast last weekend, taking down Rutgers and falling to Maryland.
- Against Rutgers on Friday, it found power in singles play after being unable to clinch the doubles point. The Hoosiers were able to secure four of six doubles courts to claw back, leaving just one court abandoned as they were victorious in a 4-2 decision.
- On Sunday, they were unable to find the same singles momentum as they took just one singles match on the day, falling 1-4 to Maryland. Junior Elisabeth Dunac added the point for the Hoosiers on singles court No.3, defeating her opponent 6-3, 6-3.
- Ohio State has multiple ranked players on its roster. In singles play, IU is slated to face No.4 Teah Chavez, No.5 Luciana Perry, No.74 Nao Nishino and No.96 Audrey Spencer. In doubles play, it features the No.22 ranked matchup of Hephzibah Oluwadare/ Teah Chavez , No.36 Flora Johnson/ Luciana Perry, No. 71 ranked Luciana Perry/ Teah Chavez and No. 83 Audrey Spencer/ Nao Nishino.
