Three Hoosiers Set for ITA All-American Championships Pre-Qualifying

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana Women's Tennis fourth year Elisabeth Dunac, second years Hi'ilani Williams and Ameia Sorey will open play at the ITA All-American Championships on Saturday in Cary, N.C.
Draws have yet to be announced but the ore-qualifying round will take place on Saturday, Septebmer 19 and Sunday, September 20 at Cary Tennis Park. Live video and results will be available.
The ITA All-American Championships have been a staple of the fall college tennis calendar for more than 40 years. Seeing the nation's best players compete for individual glory, the All-American Championships became a qualifying event for the NCAA Individual Championships in 2024 as part of a two-year pilot program that went into permanent effect before the 2026-27 season.
Dunac finished third season last year 15-3 overall, including a 10-0 record at home and going 5-1 in B1G play. Williams recored a 17-9 overall record as a first year and was Big Ten Sportsmanship award in the annual postseason awards. Sorey finished her first season by notching 12 wins as she also saw fall action last weekend at the Debbie Southern Furman Fall Classic.
